Many individuals have a definite interest to learn all about their past lives. Most of them want to know only out of curiosity about their past lives. Many different religions around the world have a deeply ingrained belief of ones past lives.

But the fact remains that you can make positive changes in your present life by using it.

Although many people who do discover their past life or lives do not think of using it that way.

Its hardly surprising really that so few people appreciate the value of Past Life Regression (PLR) when one considers that for most people, the interest they have in their past lives is based purely on curiosity and nothing more.

Modern day scientists are concluding that past life regression can help many people change their life by dealing with the bad experiences they may have had in another life. Studies have been conducted and are showing intense promise.

To start the process of learning of your past lives begins with an experienced hypnotist in Past Life Regression. Self-hypnosis is another way and there are other things for you to know to help you. Simple affirmations are beneficial to help in training your subconscious to begin to accept and to remember the memories of your past lives. However, it is normal for your mind to block these memories.

Now, before you take the plunge, you really do need to be willing to accept some facts.

We all hold the memory of our past lives somewhere deep inside our subconscious minds. It is indeed a part of our everyday life. The memories are there, and with a little encouragement, you can remember these events from the past.

If you are only interested in knowing your past life experiences PLR therapy is pointless. You must be ready to put this knowledge to use in your present life in order to make it better in any way possible.

The objective is to arrange your subconscious mind to freely allow your current conscious mind to accept the notion that it must accept the idea that past life understanding is good for you. That’s the first step and since it’s an important one using the services of a PLR expert is recommended.

All this will probably sound quite reasonable to lots of folks, including you, but naturally there’ll always be skeptics who’ll dismiss PLR as just so much poppycock.

A couple of excellent reasons exist to use Past Life Regression whether or not you do believe. According to experts the following are the two main reasons:

*Using the knowledge of your past life experiences in order to make your present life actions more positive confirms that this knowledge is really about your past life.

*Furthermore, it is believed that even if you refuse to accept memories resulting from PLR to indeed be from a past life experience, the very process will quite often free you from other mental burdens.

So what can you say are the benefits of undergoing past life regression?

*It helps in healing the past emotional traumas that are wrecking havoc in our present lives.

*Enabling you to make decisions and to think more clearly than before.

*If you know what you have done in the past to hurt someone and suffered the consequences you will change this behavior. Remembering the past life where you have done this will make you take a second look at your present behavior.

*It helps in bringing to the fore the hidden talents and skills. There are certain talents you had in the past life that remain obscure in the unconscious mind of the present life. The acknowledgment and bringing out of such talents could change your life for good forever.

*Know and understand yourself better and discover why you do things that you do. You have a certain personality and characteristics and you will know why. It will no longer be a mystery to you.

See what Past Life Regression can do for you.

This might just be the way you were looking for to make a positive change in your life for the better. Have and enjoy the life you always dreamt about.

Hindu philosophy states that the lives and reincarnation that humans go through is dictated according to the two cycles of Karma (deeds) and athma(soul).

According to the hindu’s scriptures the soul is defined as that part which is indestructible and changes its form or body as humans changes their clothes after they have outlived their useful years of life.

This is very different from Christianity’s reincarnation theory, which has as its center Christ’s resurrection.

It is believed that the soul can take any form, whether man, woman, or animal. The deeds or karma of the human being in the present life are what determines the kind of life that person will have in the next life.

There are several scriptures in the Hindu religion that talk extensively about past lives reincarnation; most notably among them is the Bhrigu Sanhita which apparently had an account of the past and future births of all living souls; however, the scripture was lost over the centuries.

A proponent of modern rebirth has been Dr. Ian Stevenson, who has collected much information on this subject.

Science in general still frowns on the concept of rebirth as valid, so it can’t be said that modern science supports this collection of “scientific information” on reincarnation theory. Nonetheless, Stevenson’s work is the most famous and well documented, not least because Dr. Stevenson was a psychiatrist with a degree in medicine.

Unlike today’s past life regression therapists, Dr. Stevenson didn’t use hypnosis or other trance inducing techniques on his subjects. Instead, the collection of data he amassed is completely based on children who spontaneously recalled incidents in past lives.

Among them the most notifiable story is that of a 6yr old boy from a small village of Punjab claiming himself to be a man called Satnam Singh of Chakkchela.

He said that he had lived in Chakkchela, this man’s village, even though he himself had never lived there. And again, curiously, he could describe it very clearly.

The boy’s family tried to dissuade him from making such statements, but he continued to claim that his name was Satnam, even going so far as to reveal the name of the man’s father. As Satnam, he said that he had been killed while coming home from school on his motorcycle.

Closer investigation found thatSatnam had indeed died in this manner. The boy was also able to reveal personal information about the family, but the “clincher” was that when the child’s and the man’s handwriting samples were compared, they were identical.

Stephenson’s collection also includes another popular account of past lives reincarnation, from a young girl named Swarnalata. This little girl was just three years old and vividly remembered her past life as a young woman she called Biya Pathak.

The young child described the house that she lived in her past and took her father to the property when they were traveling back from the railway station in their town. The child continuously suggested that she had lived in that particular area. Also she told that they could get a better cup of tea in her house than on the road.

What sealed this case was that the little girl recognized Biya Pathak’s brother, and called him by a pet name from among nine people.

There are dozens of such cases listed in the documents by Dr.stevenson. He also states that further proof of reincarnation may be birthmarks which some people have. These are said to be from accidents or fatal injuries they received in a previous life.

Indeed, one subject said that this had happened to him. He said he was his own deceased uncle, on his mother’s side; the subject had a scar on his head that matched a knife wound his uncle had had in the same location, the wound his uncle had died from.

Then, there was the case of a boy claiming himself to remember his past life as a man called Maharam. The man was killed by close range shots to the chest, the boy had several birthmark like scars on his chest that looked just like gun shot wounds.

Even though there has been a huge amount of documented cases it is not enough for the scientific community at large to accept.

There are a few noble exceptions however such as Dr Brian Weiss who is considered to be the father of past life regression.

But its worth pointing out that many people receive a positive effect from past life regression therapy. Many of them experienced a sudden disappearance of longlife phobias and fears.

Only a small twenty five percent of people believe reincarnation exists. This doesn’t mean reincarnation is not for real. Have you ever realized a talent, out of no-where? Or perhaps been inclined toward ‘something’ and not know where that inclination came from.

You know what I’m talking about if you have. There are things we sometimes feel a connection so strong we can’t ignore it and haven’t a clue where that inclination came from. There is a possible, simple answer. It could be something from a past life that was important to you.

Unfortunately people tend to ignore or overlook the validity of this possibility and miss out on an opportunity to expand their personal life. Possibly even finding out why and who they are today.

By ignoring your past lives information it would be easy to impede your personal growth and success achievements.

There has been research done extensively into life regression and it is now a powerful too in helping the emotionally disturbed.

The healing and clearing of trauma is one of the most common benefits of life regression. If we need to deal with trauma, there are two ways. We can either try to change it or run ahead full speed and face it.

When we talk of (life regression and trauma) we have available an option to rescue the past self and help that self to move forward to the present where the trauma is viewed by the Higher Self as a whole.

A positive way to get in touch with your creative self is with past life regression. Every one without exception has a creative spirit and is imbued with many attributes that can help guide each individual to make better choices and decisions in the present. Practicing past life regression will help you go back to the past and visit one or more lives. This attribute can be forwarded to the present and act as an Inner Guide.

Karma has a wonderful knack of always coming back to us. Through past life regression, we can free ourselves from past contracts or agreements if they are causing us issues today.

If you want to change it or be free of it you have to go back into the past life when this agreement took place. Using your inner guide to help you, you can go back and decide to make atonement for this agreement or to see if it can be changed to help with your present situation.

Grounding and affirming yourself is a huge benefit of going through past life regression.

When individuals practice past life regression it is not unusual for the to feel more grounded and to be more aware of themselves as a person and who they are. Mainly due to the fact they now know they have more desires, connections, passions, talents and characteristics.

This knowledge is powerful and helps them to embrace who they are as a person, and achieve a more balanced life.

When experts in the field of past life regression are asked, they agree that a person can enhance and improve their life when they practice past life regression. They will remember theses past lives and start to fulfill their ambitions and live a more complete life in the present.

You may think your experiencing simple figments or feelings of imagination. However, a catharsis will happen and your mind will open breaking down barriers blocking your achievement abilities and making it possible for you to achieve all you want in life.

Let’s briefly recap the benefits, including dealing with trauma, of life regression. Dealing with past traumatic experiences of the past allows an individual to move forward in the present life. We are much better prepared to make better choices and decisions in the present because we have already experienced them in the past.

If we are aware of our history, there is less probability we will repeat it. True world wide and of your personal life as well. Knowing you have been dishonest (in the past) and you have paid the price of that dishonesty enables you to change your way of doing things in a better and more productive way in the present.

However, the most beneficial part of past life regression is the knowledge you will obtain. A better understanding who and what you are and the reason you are who you are.

This give you the opportunity to live to the fullest of your potential.

Take advantage of all the talents, skills and abilities you have gained and use them to their fullest potential. Talents and skills and attributes you were not aware of before.

Reincarnation and a past life or lives has been a popular thought process for many people from different times and religions. Hinduism, Christianity and Kabalah all have this theme somewhere in their ideology. Humans in general have also always been curious about this possibility, seeking to know who or what they were in another life.

Most people are curious and want to learn about their past lives and a fact that you can change your present life for the better by using past life experiences positively.

What is the lure to most people to want to explore their past lives? The nature of it is intriguing. Perhaps just remembering our past lives is like being in a science fiction movie. Strange, unusual. However, the thing to consider are the benefits to our present life using Past Life Regression.

Not only have numerous studies concluded that Past Life Regression can benefit us by allowing us to learn from past experience, but even now, the scientific world continues exploring the possibilities of PLR as a means of bettering ourselves.

It should be mentioned here that you need to prepare your subconscious mind to accept memories of past lives by means of affirmation sessions. This applies to everyone, no matter which process of PLR you choose, be it self hypnosis or be it via hypnosis from a PLR expert.

There are things that are necessary for you to know and understand before trying Past Life Regression.

Never doubt that your previous life has a part in your current one.

The things that happened before exist in memories that are in your unconscious and need a bit of prodding to come to the top.

Of course, PLR will show that youve had past lives but unless were able to use this knowledge to improve the life were living now, we will have achieved nothing.

Just as one can learn from mistakes you make in this life, so you can also learn from mistakes made in a past life.

You will be able to benefit from Past Life Regression whether you believe in reincarnation or not. You may think you are imagining the memories of your past live, either way you will learn from it. You can change your behavior and avoid mistakes by seeing the mistakes of the past.

My point is that whether you believe in it or not, PLR exists nevertheless and does so for the better and not for the worse. There’s no harm giving it a try. Some specific reasons.

*You can make positive changes in your present life. This would be due to Past Life Regression and your experiences with a past life memory.

*If you think you are imagining all of this, its okay, you can still use this information to help better your life. The thoughts will clear your mind and will free you from everything holding you back.

What are the benefits can you expect using Past Life Regression?

*Our present life is often influenced through emotional upsets of a past life and PLR effectively heals those old injuries.

*You will be much clearer in thought and action

*Knowing past hurtful treatment of others and suffering the consequences will enable you to change how you treat people in the present. Remembering indiscretions of the past will help you look at and change your behavior for the better.

*By exploring your past lives you can bring out your hidden potential which is unrealized by you in the present. You may find skills and talents and other attributes that are hidden deep in your subconscious and discovering them may change your life in the present forever.

*Have you ever wandered where you get your personality from or why you are so emotional? PLR in many cases, allows us to find the questions to these answers.

Try using Past Life Regression yourself and see how it can change your life in a positive way. You may finally discover how to change your life to the life you have always dreamt of. A better life can be yours, try it.

There is some speculation about reincarnation regression and if there is any significance behind it. In history there have been documented cases of various cultures and religions that have placed a focus on this concept because the soul is considered to be immortal.

The term Reincarnation refers to being born again while the word regression refers to going back in time.

The process of reincarnation regression can be jumped started in various ways. One commonly used method is hypnotism.

This process is essentially about taking the mind to a heightened level of consciousness, a higher level of spiritual awakening wherein it can remember the memories of its past rebirths.

In some cases, this allows the person the ability to explore several different lifetimes embedded in the memories.

He or she may recall fundamental occurrences such as the deaths of the body associated with any particular previous lifetime. For some individuals this helps with explaining any fears they may face in their present lifetime. This is because his or her soul has experienced those deaths in the past.

What is important to note about the hypnotic process, is that the person isn’t in an actual unconscious state. During this method, they are actually having their thought processes channeled which helps them to focus on certain aspects.

During the Reincarnation Regression process, when the mind is in a trance state, the psychiatrist asks questions and follows up the answers with more questions to let the mind focus more on the various lifetimes it has lived through in the past.

During the process, many astounding facts come up which may act as a trigger in the individual’s present lifetime.

It should be understood that some skeptics believe that this information is being forced from the person, created through a series of ideas that are implanted by the hypnotist.

However, witnesses to the process report that they have found that is not what is happening.

During the first session the hypnotist will ask some very basic questions that can help one better understand things in the present lifetime.

Many clinical studies show that a person is able to accurately recall memories of a past life. Often they can even offer many significant details about specific events in a past life. While experiencing future trance sessions, the series of questions and information are given differently.

Hypno-kinesiology in another method of triggering a reincarnation regression, this process combines general hypnosis and testing of the muscles. During the hypnotic state the muscles are checked for any differences in reflexes, which aid in determining any past life secrets.

This method for Reincarnation Regression works well and even better for some. However, skeptics claim that all responses are provoked and accuse it to be a better way of persuading the individuals that the results are true.

A sound, a smell, a word or any such day to day element can suddenly trigger your past life memories. In some cases people experience such triggers during watching their favourite TV Show or while they are cooking their favourite dish.

Instances such as these can be scary and this is what leads one to such individuals who are experts in this field of study.

The walls that prevent us from opening up our minds and hearts to Reincarnation Regression are created from our own belief system because many fear that our spiritual belief system would then bring up more questions than solutions to it.

While skeptics may say that it is an evil practice but nothing can be more far from the truth.

Instead, it is a journey of enlightenment that can take a person and expel some of their fears and concerns that they have in life. In fact, it can be a way of helping them come to terms with their own existence, and allow their inner soul to find the peace it has been searching for.

For those who believe in past lives reincarnation, they believe that the soul goes through reincarnation and other births life after life. Among those who believe in this are those who practice the Hindu religion.

With this, the soul goes through past lives reincarnation and other births, because it is indestructible and cannot be destroyed. Instead, it only changes form from one life to the next, much as you might change outfits once one has outlived its usefulness.

This is very different than the Christian philosophy of reincarnation as it centers around Christ’s resurrection.

The Hindus state that the soul can take any form, man, woman or animal. The deeds or karma of a human being in the present, say the Hindus, will determine the life he or she will lead in the next life.

Past life reincarnation is preached in many Hindu scriptures and books, one of the most popular is the narration in famous Bhrigu Sanhita which ostensibly stated births and rebirths of all the living forms of nature. But this scripture got lost over the centuries.

The most compelling modern day account of rebirth is the collection of data by Dr, Ian Stevenson. Modern; science still frowns on the claims of rebirth so it certainly cannot be stated that it is the most well respected source of scientific information on the theory; however, it is certainly the most famous and well documented because Dr. Stevenson was a psychiatrist with a degree in medicine.

Unlike the current breed of past life regression therapists; Dr, Stevenson did not use any type of induced trance or hypnosis on his subjects; rather his collection of data is entirely and strictly based on children who had a spontaneous recollection of the incidents in their past life.

Most noted and perplexing among these cases was that of a small child, a boy, six years old, from a small village in Punjab. This child claimed that he had been a man named Satnam Singh.

The young boy had never lived or even gone to the village of Chakkchela, where Satnam singh had lived but the boy could describe the place in amazing detail.

The family tried to dissuade the boy from telling people about this, but he continued to claim that he was Satnam; he also gave the name of this man’s father. He also said that he had been killed in his past life as he was coming home from school in a motorcycle accident.

Further investigations revealed everything he had described was true. There had been someone of that name who had lived in that village and his discription of places and events were entirely accurate. The most notable thing however was when both the handwriting of the boys matched up.

Another notable account of past lives reincarnation from the Stevenson collection was that of Swarnalata, a girl of 3 years who recalled her past life as that of a woman named Biya Pathak.

She could minutely recall this young woman’s home, and in fact showed it to her father when they were traveling one day. Further, she said that she had lived in the area and that they could get a better cup of tea in her house than they could on the road.

Again, the final proof turned out to be when the child recognized the young woman’s brother, and addressed him by a pet name the young woman had had for him, among a group of nine people.

There are dozens of such cases listed in the documents by Dr.stevenson. He also states that further proof of reincarnation may be birthmarks which some people have. These are said to be from accidents or fatal injuries they received in a previous life.

A man from Thailand seemed to illustrate this; he recollected that he was his own deceased maternal uncle, reincarnated. And indeed, this man had a scar on his head that was located in the exact same place as a knife wound his uncle had died from.

Then, there was the case of a boy claimed to remember his past life in which he was a man called MahaRam, the man was killed by close range shots to the chest, the boy had several birthmark like scars on his chest that could correspond to a gun shot wound.

Many psychiatrists are in agreement that past life regression or the concept of rebirth may exist, most notably Dr. Brian Weiss, who is considered the modern father of past life regression. Nonetheless, science remains very skeptical about this concept.

However, it may also be worthwhile to state here that many people have experienced a sudden disappearance of life long fears and phobias after a few sessions of past life regression therapy.

There is much speculation of the subject of Reincarnation Regression and whether there’s any significance behind this theory. This idea actually forms a core of many religions and cultures in our world.

The term Reincarnation refers to being born again while the word regression refers to going back in time.

The process can be triggered by several different things. For instance, hypnotism is one means of triggering this process.

When a person is placed in this form of trance, there is a belief they are taken to a higher plane that allows them to experience a spiritual awakening that can begin to allow all the past experiences of the soul to come back in.

This can then permit the person to start exploring and discovering many different memories of various past lives. For instance, the different deaths in different bodies of past lifetimes may be experienced by different people according to whether or not he or she is open to them. This can help to relieve any fears they may find challenging in this lifetime. This is because they are better able to understand the physical deaths they may have experienced during their past lives.

It’s important to understand that during the hypnotic process, the individual is not in an unconscious state. During the process, individuals have their thought processes channeled in order to help them focus on specific aspects.

While in this state of trance, the person performing the hypnosis will begin to ask specific questions of the past, and trying to focus on the various rebirths that the present soul has gone through. There are times in this process that startling information might arise, and can be the cause of other triggers in the present life.

It is significant to note that some skeptics think this information may be forced from the person in the hypnotic state. Many consider that the ideas are embedded during the process. However, anyone witnessing the whole process will understand that this is not true.

During the first session the hypnotist will ask some very basic questions that can help one better understand things in the present lifetime.

In many recorded studies it is seen that the detailed information given therein match with another question-answer session in a later regression session though the set of questions asked are different.

Combining hypnotism with muscle testing gives us another effective way towards Reincarnation Regression. Known as Hypno-kinesiology, it tests the variances in the reflexes of the subject to learn about the past life secrets of the individual.

For some people, using this method provides better results. However, some claim that his method is used to persuade the person to believe their results are anything more than provoked responses that the body would naturally have as a reaction.

In some cases, the answer to regression comes from trigger words, sounds or smells. In our normal daily routine we might be watching our favorite show, or smelling a home cooked meal when we recall an event from a lifetime we never had.

At times, this can cause fear, but if we explore the experience further, we will discover the truth about our reincarnation regression. This is what often leads us to people that have a great deal of knowledge in this field.

There are times when our beliefs and reactions create walls that prevent us from opening our hearts and minds to the entire process of reincarnation regression. Some fear that when this occurs, our spiritual belief system contains more unanswered questions than solutions.

Rather than questioning current levels of faith, it is vital to embrace the possibilities that are open for understanding such a state of regression. The process has nothing to do with evil or the use of black magic.

Rather it is a path of self enlightenment which people should undertake keeping their respective spiritual beliefs aside. Once undertaken they will realize that it is only a path of self discovery and eternal peace which will lead you to know who you really are and the reasons behind each problem and fear that you have in your present life.

Of the population only, it is said, only twenty five percent believe in the existence of reincarnation. It does not, however, necessarily prove that reincarnation does not exist. Have there been times you’ve felt an inclination towards something or maybe you had an ability or talent and had no idea where you got that talent from?

You know what I’m talking about if you have. There are things we sometimes feel a connection so strong we can’t ignore it and haven’t a clue where that inclination came from. There is a possible, simple answer. It could be something from a past life that was important to you.

It’s unfortunate that many people either overlook the possibility or ignore its validity. And miss the opportunity of growing as an individual and also to find out who they really are in the present and who they were in the past.

Many don’t realize that by not going back into past lives they are impeding their personal success and achievements abilities.

Research into past life regression has been done extensively and is now a tool to help the emotionally disturbed and considered a very powerful tool.

A benefit of life regression, and one of the most important is the healing of trauma and its clearing. We can make one of two choice when encountering trauma. One try and change it or two face it head on and heal it.

When we are talking about life regression and facing trauma we also have the option of rescuing the past self and helping him/her move forward to the now where the trauma can be viewed as a whole by the Higher Self.

Past life regression can also help in contacting our creative side. There isn’t a person out there that doesn’t have a mix of talents and attributes that help guide them through life towards certain choices over others. A past life regression can help you go back through one or more lives where we can bring the attribute or the past life to act as an inner guide.

Practicing past life regression can aid you in rewriting a past life contract, agreement or a promise. Karma – is easily said as ‘what goes around, comes around’. Anything you do (good or bad) past or present will eventually come back to you. There is likely to be another individual who is involved.

We can with the help of an inner guide, modify it or rewrite this contract to unbind us from what is holding us down in that life, and heal today.

There is a benefit to going back to a past life using regression and it’s significant.

It is the affirmation and grounding of ones self.

Individuals who practice past life regression feel more grounded and this is not and uncommon situation. In fact this is due to the information they have received making them more aware of who they are personally and that they have characteristics, talents, connections and more.

This information explains why they have these abilities and enables them to accept the situation, who they are and to live a more balanced life.

In past life regression the experts agree if a person uses and practices past life regression, they can make better changes in their life and will enhance and improve their living on a daily bases. You’ll remember your past lives and you will live better and be more fulfilled as a person.

Believe it or not, even if you think the events and feelings you have are simply figments of your imagination there is a catharsis that will take place and open your mind and breakdown the walls that are blocking you from achieving what you want in life.

Lets recap briefly the benefits to you from life regression, including the ability to deal with traumatic situations of the past, enabling the move forward in the present. By dealing with the issues of past lives enables you to better deal with making better decisions presently, using experience we have had in the past.

If you know the history of your past lives, you can avoid making the same mistakes in the present. It’s a worldwide truth and also of your personal life. Knowing if you have been dishonest and have paid the price, this can also help you change your bad (old) habits and improve your present life for the better.

The most beneficial part of past life regressions, however, is all the knowledge you have obtained. A more complete understanding of who you are, what you are and why you are who you are.

This means that you can live a more complete and balanced life where you are able to live to your fullest potential, taking advantage of the talents and skills you didn’t even know you had.

One of the philosophies that believes in past lives reincarnation and other births for the soul is the Hindu philosophy.

The Hindu philosophy also believes in athma (soul) and karma (deeds).

With this, the soul goes through past lives reincarnation and other births, because it is indestructible and cannot be destroyed. Instead, it only changes form from one life to the next, much as you might change outfits once one has outlived its usefulness.

This is a very different philosophy than that of Christianity, which centers around Christ’s resurrection.

Hinduism believes that reincarnation can happen for the soul in many forms, whether man, woman, or animal, and that the deeds or karma of one’s present life will determine the state of the next life.

There are several scriptures in the Hindu religion that talk extensively about past lives reincarnation; most notably among them is the Bhrigu Sanhita which apparently had an account of the past and future births of all living souls; however, the scripture was lost over the centuries.

The most important modern day account of rebirth is the collection of data by Dr, Ian Stevenson. Modern science still frowns on these claims of rebirth. Thus it cannot be stated that it is the most well accepted source of scientific information based on the theory; but still now it is the most popular and well documented because Dr. Stevenson was a psychiatrist along with a degree in medicine.

Dr. Stevenson didn’t use hypnosis or other techniques to induce trance like states in his subjects, like some of today’s past life regression therapists. Instead, he amassed a collection of data from children who could spontaneously recall past life incidents.

One of the most well-known and curious cases concerns a young boy who was six years old at the time. From a small village in Punjab, this little boy said that he had been a man named Satnam Singh in a past life.

The young boy had never lived or even gone to the village of Chakkchela, where Satnam singh had lived but the boy could describe the place in amazing detail.

The family tried to dissuade this, but the boy nonetheless continued to claim that he was this man, and even reveal the name of the man’s father. He said that he had been killed in a motorcycle accident on his way home from school.

Further investigations revealed everything he had described was true. There had been someone of that name who had lived in that village and his discription of places and events were entirely accurate. The most notable thing however was when both the handwriting of the boys matched up.

Stephenson’s collection also includes another popular account of past lives reincarnation, from a young girl named Swarnalata. This little girl was just three years old and vividly remembered her past life as a young woman she called Biya Pathak.

The young child went on to describe the house that she lived and led her father to the property when they were traveling back from the railway station in their town and the child spontaneously suggested that she had lived in the area and that they could get a better cup of tea in her house than on the road.

The “clincher” for this case was when the little girl recognized the young woman’s brother, and addressed him by his pet name from among nine people.

There remains so many other fully documented cases of regression in Stevenson’s documents.

He also states that sometimes people would have a birthmark from an injury or an accident from the subject’s previous life.

A man from Thailand seemed to illustrate this; he recollected that he was his own deceased maternal uncle, reincarnated. And indeed, this man had a scar on his head that was located in the exact same place as a knife wound his uncle had died from.

Yet another case was that of a boy who remembered himself as a man named MahaRam in his past life. Being shot at very close range killed this man, and the boy indeed had several birthmarks that looked like scars from gunshot wounds on his chest.

Many psychiatrists and psychologists, as well as of eminent authorities, believe that past life regression is indeed plausible. Among them, Dr. Brian Weiss is considered to be the father of past life regression. In general science remains skeptical about it.

However, it may also be worthwhile to state here that many people have experienced a sudden disappearance of life long fears and phobias after a few sessions of past life regression therapy.
