Your Past, Present And Future Are All The Same
The theory of Karma Reincarnation and other births that the soul goes
through is dictated by the Hindu philosophy of karma (deeds) and athma
(soul). According to the Hindu religious scriptures, the soul is
indestructible and it merely changes its form or body the way a human
being changes his clothes after they have outlived their useful years.
Christianity has a very different viewpoint of Karma Reincarnation,
focusing on Christ's resurrection instead. In Hinduism, the soul can
inhabit any form, woman, man, even animal. The karma, or deeds of the
human being, dictate what the next life will hold for that person.
Several Hindu scriptures talk about Karma Reincarnation. Most notable
among these is the Bhrigu Sanhita, which supposedly held an accounting of
all past and future births for souls then currently living. It's
unfortunate, then, that the scripture was lost over time.
As far as modern-day accounts of Karma Reincarnation or rebirth, Dr. Ian
Stevenson has collected some fascinating data. Today, science frowns on
the concept of reincarnation as an actual reality, so no one can state
with certainty that this is the most respected scientific source to be had
on reincarnation as a theory. It is, however, the most well documented and
famous, because Dr. Stevenson had a degree in medicine and was a
psychiatrist.
Today, most past life regression therapists use hypnosis or induce trance
in subjects to get them to recall past lives. However, Dr. Stevenson
didn't do any of these things. Instead, he simply talked to children who
spontaneously recalled things that happened to them in their past lives.
Most noted and perplexing among these cases was that of a small child, a
boy, six years old, from a small village in Punjab. This child claimed
that he had been a man named Satnam Singh; further, he could vividly
describe the man's village of Chakkchela, even though the boy had never
actually been there.
Despite the family's efforts, the boy continued to claim that his name was
Satnam and even went so far as to reveal the name of Satnam's father. He
said that he had been killed in a motor cycle accident when he was on his
way home from school. An investigation was conducted into the matter and
it was found that there was indeed an individual by the name of Satnam
Singh and he had been killed in the precise way in which the young boy had
described. Other intimate details about his family hat the boy had
revealed also checked out right. However, the clincher was when the
handwriting of Satnam Singh was compared with that of the young boy and it
turned out to be identical.
Stevenson's files listed
dozens of these types of cases. Further, Stevenson states that when injury
happens in one life, it can manifest in the next as a birthmark in the
same location as the injury. This was indeed borne out in one of his cases
on a man from Thailand, who recalled that he was in fact his own deceased
maternal uncle, reincarnated. This man had a scar on his head that matched
the location where his maternal uncle had been wounded with a knife and
had died as a result.
Another child claimed that he had been a man named MahaRam, who had been
killed by close range shots to the chest area. And in fact, the child had
birthmarks on his chest that looked like they could have been bullet wound
scars.
Another subject of Stevenson's was a little girl, three years old, by the
name of Swarnalata. She said that she had lived before, and had been a
young woman whose name was Biya Pathak. The child could describe in
perfect detail the house she had lived in as the young woman, and even
took her father there when they were out and about one day. The child not
only said that she had lived there, but that they could get a better cup
of tea in the house than they could on the road. The little girl also
recognized the young woman's brother, and called him by a pet name of the
young woman's, in front of nine people.
It should also be noted that there are skeptics that believe information
is forced from the individuals and created through a complex series of
implanted ideas. People that have witnessed this process report that
anything but this is happening.
During the first session the hypnotist will ask some very basic questions
that can help one better understand things in the present lifetime. Many
clinical studies show that a person is able to accurately recall memories
of Karma Reincarnation. Often they can even offer many significant details
about specific events in a past life. While experiencing future trance
sessions, the series of questions and information are given differently.
Hypno-kinesiology is another method used for Karma Reincarnation. The
process combines general hypnosis with muscle testing. While an individual
is in a hypnotic state, the reflexes are checked for variances in order to
reveal their past life history.
For some people, hypno-kinesiology is a better method for obtaining
results. However, some people claim this method is used to persuade the
individual to believe their results are anything more than provoked
responses that the body would naturally have in reaction to as well.
While in regression, different words, scents and sounds can trigger past
life memories. The scent of bread baking in an oven, hearing an old song
and many other things can trigger these memories of events from a past
life. For some, this can cause fear. However, taking the time to learn
from such experiences can bring on the truth of such reincarnation
regression processes. This can lead to a better understanding and
knowledge associated with this field of study.
Based on our reactions and our belief system, there might be walls that
are created that prevent us from opening our minds and hearts to the
process of Karma Reincarnation regression. Some fear that if this is the
case, then our spiritual belief system is one that contains more
unanswered questions than solutions.
However, keep in mind that this process of understanding Karma
Reincarnation is not one of questioning any type of faith. It is a process
that can help us openly embrace the various possibilities of being in a
state of regression. The process does not have anything to do with evil or
black magic. It does involve the ability to understand how natural it is
to have lived a past life or even more than one. This process can be
helpful for reducing fears and concerns that one may face and not
understand in this life time. In order to find understanding and inner
peace, it is essential to come to terms with any issue concerning living a
past life.
Dr. Brian Weiss is
considered to be the father of modern past life regression, and he and
several other eminent authorities in the field of psychiatry and
psychology consider that the concept of Karma Reincarnation is in fact a
plausible one. Nonetheless, science itself remains very sceptical about
it. It's also worth noting here, however, that when people do undergo past
life regression therapy, they often suddenly dispense with lifelong fears
and phobias.
There is some speculation about Karma Reincarnation and if there is any
significance behind it. In history there have been documented cases of
various cultures and religions that have placed a focus on this concept
because the soul is considered to be immortal. Because of this, the belief
is that an individual is reborn in a new body, and while in the present
body they begin to recall the memories and the lifetime that they once
had.
There are a number of ways to jump start this process, with the most
common being hypnotism. When an individuals is put into a trance, it is
believed they evolve to a higher plane which allows them have a spiritual
awakening. It is these spiritual awakening that allows the soul's past
experiences to return.
There are reports of people being able to explore various lifetimes in
their memory. They often recall pivotal moments, including the death of
the body that was associated with the lives. For some, this explains
unfounded fears that they experience in their present life, as the
previous deaths were experienced by the soul of the past.
What is important to note about the hypnotic process associated with
regression to explore Karma Reincarnation, is that the person isn't in an
actual unconscious state. During this method, they are actually having
their thought processes channelled which helps them to focus on certain
aspects.
While an individual is in a trance, the hypnotist will ask specific
questions regarding the past, focusing on rebirths the present soul has
experienced. During this process, there are times that rather startling
information is revealed that could be what causes certain triggers in the
present lifetime.
