Keeping a Diary

However, no matter which technique you may find useful for meditation purposes, you should always be in an area that offers no disturbances and that is peaceful.

First of all you need to find a comfortable position once everything is quiet and peaceful. You will have to teach yourself how to relax the muscles which will calm the mind. If you get distracted with stressful concerns or anything else, you have to let them go. It's hard to do at first, but once you're able to make that connection the body will flow into a meditation much easier.

Lie down or sit in a comfortable position, while being in a receptive and positive frame of mind. You will focus on relaxing your muscles while quieting your mind. When undesirable concerns enter your mind, simply acknowledge them and then let then pass, however it may take some practice to do so. You should focus on your heart, while not expecting anything but relaxing. When questions arise, ask them and then let them go. The answers will come to you, when you least expect them.

You may even come to the conclusion that your brother, mother, or father today, was once a part of your life many years ago. However, they may not have been of any relation, or could have been even closer then you are today. Whatever the case may be it's unbelievable to think you knew your siblings 300 years ago in another lifetime.

Interestingly, many individuals, do find that the people they love presently were with them in a previous lifetime, however, their relationship status may be very different. For instance, your brother may have been your father of husband in a previous lifetime.



Keep a Journal

These clues which have been mentioned, often manifest themselves in our day to day lives and providing you're willing to look for them, you're sure to find some. For example, you could start by making one or two lists. The first one could consist of the things you like or don't like and could cover a wide range of factors, from foods to religions, from cultures to historical events. The second list on the other hand could cover more personal aspects such as moods, temper, talents and even any specific fears you may have. Additionally, keep a record of other things such as any scars you have and even make a note of your birthmark. While these may seem insignificant, they may well provide clues further down the line to a Life Between Life. Even feelings of deja-vu are worth writing down.

The most overlooked area to keep track of is your dreams. While many people don't understand their dreams, you should write about them and try to take what you can from them. You will notice that some of the messages or symbols you find intertwined with a dream could relate to either your past or present life.

There may be some valuable information coming to you when the images begin flowing in and out, while meditating may feel like daydreaming to you. You should write these things down in your journal to consider later. If it works the first time, make sure you record it the second time around. This way you can teach yourself at home.
