Are My Past Lives Important?
Are you aware of the fact that there are more people who actually believe in reincarnation than those who don't? Keeping Track of Your Experiences
All too often we are presented with very real and very valuable clues with regards to a past life, only to brush it aside, believing the experience to be of little significance. It's for this exact reason why it's of such importance to keep a record of events by writing them down. Furthermore, it's of particular importance that you record the emotional effect any given experience may have had on you as our emotions are more often than not, our strongest and most accurate indicators.
Your present daily life is more often than not, full of clues if only you're willing to look for them. Keeping a list of the things you like and dislike such as various foods, cultures, religions, and even architecture, can also shed some light on certain mysteries. In addition to this, one should keep a similar record with regards to one's personal traits such as personality, temperament, talents, and even any particular phobias you may have. Even things which may appear to be of little importance, such as a birthmark or your favorite type of animal, can all serve to provide additional clues.
As past lives may show up while you are sleeping, it’s a good idea to record what you dream about, but bear in mind the symbols of your dreams may represent your current life as well as any past lives. Meditation can be highly effective in providing clues regarding past lives. However, because of the very personal nature of meditation, many tend to have some issues as far as trusting the information they receive is concerned. Because of this, it is always recommended that you follow your instincts, relying on your own sixth sense.
On the topic of meditation, one should realize that one's subconscious is extremely vulnerable to suggestion. As a result, you mind will retrieve or recall the type of information you instruct it to. Likewise, if in your heart you believe you cannot recall past life experiences, then the chances are you won't. Many people refer to meditation as a dream-like state and while this certainly is true, valuable clues and information can be revealed. Here again, your best bet is to write down everything you recall in order for you to analyze it at a later time.
Staring into the flames of a fire, or at any flame for that matter, can be beneficial for meditating although some people pr4efer audio stimulation instead, such as soft music. Of course not everyone requires stimulation as many prefer total silence instead.

Know as \"binaural beats\", this new technology involves playing sound waves of different frequencies in each ear. So far, results tend to suggest that this process an instantaneous feeling of deep relaxation, much the same as experienced by the famous Zen monks when they meditate.

Of course, you may not be sure the images are from a previous life but sometimes people are able to piece together sufficient information to carry out research and verify the names, places and occasions which have arisen.
Another thing often discovered is that those close to you now also played a part in your previous life, although the relationship may well be different. For instance, your father in your present life may have been your brother previously.
Whether you choose to believe in reincarnation or not, for the most part, regression proves to be helpful for most people and for those who remain skeptical, regression will at least prove to be unimaginably interesting.
