Help Yourself By Revisiting Your Past.

While many thousands or rather millions have a certain level of curiosity regarding reincarnation, others find it to be the most common sense explanation with regards to the many mysteries which life lays before us. If we look a little further we will notice that the concept of reincarnation is the very cornerstone of many religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism, to name just two. It's hardly surprising then that the number of people who believe in having had past lives, far exceeds the number of people who don't believe in such a fascinating phenomena. Together with a little knowledge, there are various methods one can employ which can greatly assist you in finding out more about a past life or past lives.

Maintain a Diary or Journal of Experiences

One of the most effective ways to discover facts about your past lives is to record your experiences in a journal. Make a note of things that happen to you, even the events which seem unimportant. Write down how you feel about things as they happen because our emotions are very often the strongest clues we have and may well relate to a past life. The details you write down at various times may later be pieced together like a jigsaw.

For those in search of answers, you'll be pleasantly surprised to know that one can most often come across numerous clues if only you're willing to search for them. An effective way of doing this is to draw up a list of all the things you like as well as all the things you don't like. These lists could include a vast variety of things such as feelings towards certain cultures or religions or even particular foods which you may find to be important in your life. Additionally, personality traits such as your temperament, your talents and even your fears, are all gateways to further clues regarding a past life.

While dreams can represent the present, they can also represent the past so it's fundamental that you do your best to record your dreams as accurately as possible. Anything which may be interpreted as symbolic which shows up in a dream, may relate to the past or the present, hence the importance of keeping track. One approach which many people have found to be very helpful, is the use of positive suggestion. In other words, just prior to sleeping, suggest to yourself that you wish to learn about your past life or lives via the dreams you have. Consequently, when you dream be sure to write down everything you remember of the dream. This should however be done as soon as you awaken.

Regression Therapy

If it's at all possible for you to go to a professional past life therapist, then don't hesitate. They will help you to interpret the information you receive when guiding you through a regression. Such therapists are trained and certified by The International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies and the International Association of Past Life Therapists and these organizations may be able to help you find a therapist in your local area.

Meditation

Meditation can be highly effective in providing clues regarding past lives. However, because of the very personal nature of meditation, many tend to have some issues as far as trusting the information they receive is concerned. Because of this, it is always recommended that you follow your instincts, relying on your own sixth sense.

On the topic of meditation, one should realize that one's subconscious is extremely vulnerable to suggestion. As a result, you mind will retrieve or recall the type of information you instruct it to. Likewise, if in your heart you believe you cannot recall past life experiences, then the chances are you won't. Many people refer to meditation as a dream-like state and while this certainly is true, valuable clues and information can be revealed. Here again, your best bet is to write down everything you recall in order for you to analyze it at a later time.

There are various forms of stimulation which people find to be beneficial for meditation and while some prefer silence, others prefer visual or audio stimulation. Such stimulation could for example include listening to soothing sounds such as the sound of the sea. Likewise, visual stimulation could include staring at the flickering flame of a candle or even the dancing flames of a slow burning fire.

A relatively new development using sound technology has been shown to have very promising results. This therapy known as \"binaural beats\" is performed by playing sound waves in each ear but with slight variations in the frequencies. Current studies tend to suggest that a feeling of deep relaxation is instantly experienced, similar to that which is experience by Zen monk when they meditate.

Most importantly though, is that your meditation sessions are always done in an area of peace and quiet.

Get yourself comfortable either sitting or lying down and ensure you are in a positive frame of mind. When things you do not want to think about enter your mind, acknowledge them and then let them pass. This may not come easily at first but with a little practice it will be second nature. Simply concentrate on nothing except relaxing and focus on your heart. Should any questions arise, ask them and then move on. You will discover the answers come to you when you are least expecting them.

The important thing is that you are able to use the information or images you receive in order to solve some mysteries or problems. Whi8le some people sometimes receive information or images which they can verify with a little research, this is not always the case so don't always expect to be able to prove the legitimacy of the information revealed to you.

People are often fascinated to discover that those they are close to in their present lives were with them previously, although the relationship may have been very different. For example, your brother now may have been your father in a past life.

Regression helps people find what they receive to be helpful and interesting, whatever their views on the subject may have been initially.
