Past Lives - Why put Yourself Through it Again?

Many people, such as Buddhists and Hindus believe in reincarnation. It is part of their religion and their way of life. There are others who are just curious, some who seek the answers to life's mysteries and those who consider reincarnation to be the more common sense approach as far as their past lives are concerned. No matter how you look at it, there are more people who believe in reincarnation than don't and here are some ways to help you if you want to remember your past lives.

Write Down Your Experiences

There are admittedly many ways through which we can find out more about past lives but perhaps the most effective means, is to keep a journal, writing down all your experiences, both significant and insignificant. When doing this, one should also acknowledge the importance of making notes with regards to the state of your emotions at the time of these experiences. This is essential as our emotions are a very reliable source of clues and by noting these feelings, one will be better equipped when it comes to the stage when you try to put all the pieces together.

Your present daily life is more often than not, full of clues if only you're willing to look for them. Keeping a list of the things you like and dislike such as various foods, cultures, religions, and even architecture, can also shed some light on certain mysteries. In addition to this, one should keep a similar record with regards to one's personal traits such as personality, temperament, talents, and even any particular phobias you may have. Even things which may appear to be of little importance, such as a birthmark or your favorite type of animal, can all serve to provide additional clues.

As past lives may show up while you are sleeping, it’s a good idea to record what you dream about, but bear in mind the symbols of your dreams may represent your current life as well as any past lives. Just before you fall asleep, tell yourself you would like to learn about your past lives and make sure you record anything you can remember in your journal when you wake.

PRLT - Past Life Transgression Therapy

Professional past life transgression therapists are for the most part, highly experienced in this field and are able to offer one guidance as you attempt to move through transgression. If at all possible, you should go and see a professional who has been trained and certified by the International Association for Regression, Research and Therapies. Likewise, the International Association of Past Life Therapists also train and certify professions in this field who can offer you invaluable information and an ability to understand.

The Power of Meditation

Meditation is perhaps one of the most valuable means of acquiring knowledge regarding your past life or past lives. However, for many people it is sometimes difficult to accept and trust the information you receive, given that meditation is by all accounts, a very personal and private undertaking. Because of this, it is absolutely fundamental that one follows one's instincts and that you place your trust in your own feelings.

Admittedly, meditation can often feel very similar to daydreaming, with thoughts, visions and images constantly coming and going but one should realize that during this process, some very valuable information will also be passing through. Be sure to write down absolutely everything so that you'll be able to go over it all at a time which is convenient. Also, as mentioned already, the human mind is very open to suggestion so if you tell yourself that you cannot recall past life experiences, you simply won't be able to.

Some people choose to meditate with sound whilst others prefer a visual stimulus like the flame of a candle. For those who use sound, it can be a recorded meditation session from a therapist or simply a piece of music or sounds such as the \"om\" of Tibetan bells.

Stirring up quite a bit of excitement in this field, is the recent discovery of the benefits of using binaural beats. This is still a relatively new technology which involves sound waves of different frequencies being played in each ear. Results so far suggest that the subject feels instant relaxation at a level much the same as that experienced by Zen monks during meditation.

Rather than force yourself to use any given method, simply ensure that you have an area which is calm and quiet.

Providing one can maintain an open and receptive mind, you may choose to lie down or sit while meditating. Of course your attention should be solely devoted to muscle relaxation and a clear mind. Any thoughts which threaten to distract you should simply be acknowledged briefly and then allowed to pass by. Questions which arise should of course be dealt with in much the same way, Simply by answering them and then letting them go. Admittedly this may require some practice at first but it does get easier with time, Expect only deep relaxation from yourself and nothing else. The answers you are seeking will come to you, even though this may only happen when you're not expecting it.

In most cases, the information and images that come through will help you to solve some of those mysteries you have pondered, whether you believe in reincarnation or not. Of course it may not always be possible for you to prove to others just how authentic your experiences are although it is common to gather enough information at times, in order to research some facts such as names or places.

While many people tend to discover that they've shared past lives with some of their loved ones from this life, the relationship they currently have with those people may differ to the relationship they shared in a past life. In other words, a brother in this life may have been a father in a previous life or they may even have been your son or daughter.

Perhaps you don't believe in reincarnation or the possibility of having had past lives but if you at least try it, the chances are you'll find regression to be very beneficial and in no uncertain terms, extremely interesting.
