Taking Measures to Recall Events of Past Lives
As strange as it may seem, there are far more people on this planet who believe in past lives, also known as reincarnation, than there are who don't. For some, reincarnation or at least the concept thereof, forms the very foundation of their religion. This is especially true in the case of Hindus and Buddhists although this also applies to many other religions as well. For others, reincarnation may simply offer the most common sense explanation for the many mysteries in life.
Record Your Experiences
One of the most effective ways to discover facts about your past lives is to record your experiences in a journal. Make a note of things that happen to you, even the events which seem unimportant. Write down how you feel about things as they happen because our emotions are very often the strongest clues we have and may well relate to a past life. The details you write down at various times may later be pieced together like a jigsaw.
Throughout your daily routine keep an eye out for clues. For instance make a list of what you like and what you don’t like. This may include things from your childhood, the foods you like best, your preferences for fashion and your favorite cultures, climate, historical periods and architecture. You should also consider including how you feel about the various skills and talents you have along with your phobias and fears, the traits of your personality, the way you look physically and anything else which plays a big part in your life such as your pets, what you do for a living and those strange déjà vu experiences you have every now and again.
While dreams can represent the present, they can also represent the past so it's fundamental that you do your best to record your dreams as accurately as possible. Anything which may be interpreted as symbolic which shows up in a dream, may relate to the past or the present, hence the importance of keeping track. One approach which many people have found to be very helpful, is the use of positive suggestion. In other words, just prior to sleeping, suggest to yourself that you wish to learn about your past life or lives via the dreams you have. Consequently, when you dream be sure to write down everything you remember of the dream. This should however be done as soon as you awaken.
PRLT - Past Life Transgression Therapy

You will be helped to make sense of the information you receive as the professional guides you through a regression. Therapists of this kind are trained and certified by The International Association for Regression and Research and Therapies and the International Association of Past Life Therapists and both of these organizations are likely to be able to help you find a therapist close by.
Meditation
Meditation is another extremely powerful means of being able to discover more about any of your past lives. Unfortunately, because meditation is more often than not very personal, many people encounter trust issues concerning the information they receive. The best advice anyone could give you in this respect, is simply that you need to place your trust in your own sixth sense.
Meditation is often described as a dream-like state of mind and of course, to a great extent this is true. Just as in a dream, images will come and go and for the most part, these images provide us with potential clues as to our past lives. For this reason, one should always be ready to write your recollections down on some paper so that you can ponder over them at a later time when it is more convenient for you. Being highly susceptible to suggestion, your mind is able to recall any information which you instruct it to but on the other hand, if you don't believe that it is possible to recall past life experiences, then it simply won't be possible.
Some people choose to meditate with sound whilst others prefer a visual stimulus like the flame of a candle. For those who use sound, it can be a recorded meditation session from a therapist or simply a piece of music or sounds such as the \"om\" of Tibetan bells.
A more recent discovery has also surfaced lately which has been showing some very promising results. Know as \"binaural beats\", this new technology involves playing sound waves of different frequencies in each ear. So far, results tend to suggest that this process an instantaneous feeling of deep relaxation, much the same as experienced by the famous Zen monks when they meditate.
Irrespective of which method suits you best, have a quiet and peaceful surrounding is of utmost importance.
Your top priority is to be in a relaxed position while maintaining an open and receptive state of mind. Furthermore, don't expect or hope for anything more that a feeling of deep relaxation. In most cases you'll experience an abundance of thoughts attempting to interrupt your session but with a little practice, you'll soon learn how to handle this effectively, simply by acknowledging them and then allowing them to pass by. Likewise, many questions will keep coming to mind as well but here again, simply address them and them put them aside. Once you achieve a suitable state of mind, the answers to the questions you have will come to you and in the vast majority of cases, they'll come to you when you're least expecting them to.
The pictures you get in your mind will help you to determine something in your life whether or not you believe in reincarnation. Of course, you may not be sure the images are from a previous life but sometimes people are able to piece together sufficient information to carry out research and verify the names, places and occasions which have arisen.
People are often fascinated to discover that those they are close to in their present lives were with them previously, although the relationship may have been very different. For example, your brother now may have been your father in a past life.
Perhaps you believe in reincarnation and perhaps you don't but the fact remains, irrespective of what you believe, transgression is most often very helpful and certainly, extremely interesting.
