Past Lives Reincarnation; A New Understanding
The theory of past lives reincarnation and other births that the soul goes
through is dictated by the Hindu philosophy of karma (deeds) and athma
(soul). According to the Hindu religious scriptures, the soul is
indestructible and it merely changes its form or body the way a human
being changes his clothes after they have outlived their useful years.
Christianity has a very different viewpoint of Past Lives Reincarnation,
focusing on Christ's resurrection instead. In Hinduism, the soul can
inhabit any form, woman, man, even animal. The karma, or deeds of the
human being, dictate what the next life will hold for that person.
Several Hindu scriptures talk very much about past lives reincarnation.
Most notable among these is the Bhrigu Sanhita. This scripture apparently
had a complete accounting of the future and past births of all souls
living; it's unfortunate, then, that the scripture has been lost to the
ages.
One of the most compelling past lives reincarnation experts on rebirth is
Dr. Ian Stevenson. His data is famous and compelling because he had a
background in modern medicine; he held a degree in medicine, and was a
psychiatrist. This is especially notable considering that modern science
discounts rebirth as a legitimate claim.
Therefore, it can't be stated that this is the most notable source of
scientific information on Past Lives Reincarnation is theory, just the
most famous and well documented.
This claim was investigated and it was absolutely found that there had
been a man named Satnam Singh, and he had been killed precisely as the boy
said he had been. The young boy also revealed intimate details about the
family, and these also checked out to be accurate. The most amazing part
of this was when the handwriting of the young boy and the handwriting of
the deceased man were compared, and were found to be absolutely identical.
Another popular account of past lives reincarnation from the Stevenson
collection was that of Swarnalata, a girl of 3 years who remembered her
past life as that of a young woman named Biya Pathak.
The young child went on to describe the house that she lived and led her
father to the property when they were traveling back from the railway
station in their town and the child spontaneously suggested that she had
lived in the area and that they could get a better cup of tea in her house
than on the road. The turning point in the case came when the child
recognized Biya's brother and addressed him by his pet name from a group
of 9 people.
There are dozens of such cases of Past Lives Reincarnation listed by
Stevenson in his data. He also goes on to state that often an injury
caused due to a trauma in the last birth can manifest itself in the form
of a birthmark in the next birth. One such case is that of a man from
Thailand, who had the recollection of being his deceased maternal uncle in
his last birth; he had a scar to his head and investigation revealed that
the maternal uncle had died of a knife wound to that area of the body.
Yet another case of Past Lives Reincarnation was that of a boy who
remembered himself as a man named MahaRam in his past life. Being shot at
very close range killed this man, and the boy indeed had several
birthmarks that looked like scars from gunshot wounds on his chest.
Unlike today's past life regression therapists, Dr. Stevenson didn't use
hypnosis or other trance inducing techniques on his subjects. Instead, the
collection of data he amassed is completely based on children who
spontaneously recalled incidents in past lives.
Most noted and perplexing among these cases was that of a small child, a
boy, six years old, from a small village in Punjab. This child claimed
that he had been a man named Satnam Singh; further, he could vividly
describe the man's village of Chakkchela, even though the boy had never
actually been there.
The family tried to discourage the boy from saying these things, but he
nonetheless continued to say that his name was Satnam. He even told others
what the man's father's name had been. Further, the boy said that he had
been killed in a motorcycle accident as he was heading home from school.
Even though many psychiatrists; most notably among them, Dr Brian Weiss
who is considered to be the father of past life regression and several
others eminent authorities on psychiatry and psychology are inclined to
believe the concept of Past Lives Reincarnation, science at large is
extremely sceptical about it. However, it may also be worthwhile to state
here that many people have experienced a sudden disappearance of life long
fears and phobias after a few sessions of past life regression therapy.
Have you ever considered the process of Past Lives Reincarnation
regression? Although everyone may have his or her own opinion concerning
the matter, it is not a new concept to humans. However, it is one that has
been popular for centuries with many religions and cultures. They have
documented their findings down through the years. The reasoning behind
this is that the soul is everlasting, an immortal entity.
Depending on our reactions and belief
system, wall might be built to prevent us from opening our minds and
hearts to reincarnation regression. It is feared that when this is the
cause, the person's spiritual belief system contains fewer solutions than
unanswered questions.
However, keep in mind that this process is not one of questioning any type
of faith. It is a process that can help us openly embrace the various
possibilities of being in a state of Past Lives Reincarnation regression.
The process does not have anything to do with evil or black magic. It does
involve the ability to understand how natural it is to have lived a past
life or even more than one. This process can be helpful for reducing fears
and concerns that one may face and not understand in this life time. In
order to find understanding and inner peace, it is essential to come to
terms with any issue concerning living a past life.
It is significant to note that when in a hypnotic state, the individual is
not actually unconscious. Rather this method channels the thought
processes and allows the individual to focus on particular aspects. The
hypnotist may ask particular questions pertaining to a past life, during
the process of a trance like state. The person in the trance is better
able to focus on the various rebirths of his or her soul. However, some
unanticipated information can come to the surface, since his or her
feelings and thoughts trigger the information of Past Lives Reincarnation.
Skeptics may think that this type of information is forces upon the
individual while under hypnosis. They think that many of these ideas are
planted in the mind while someone is undergoing such a process. This is of
course, not true. While personally witnessing the complete process of Past
Lives Reincarnation, one is better able to understand that such thoughts
and claims are not true and have no basis of truth.
During a person's first session, they are usually placed in a trance and
asked some basic question in order to better understand the life they are
currently experiencing. During studies, it is reported that an individual
can give an accurate account of a past life, providing details of certain
events that took place. During future sessions, this same information is
again provided, even though entirely different questions are asked.
This naturally leads to many different questions concerning the soul being
reborn into a new body some time after the death of a previous body. Many
people in fact, do experience memory recall of a past life within a
different body.
The process can be triggered by several different things. For instance,
hypnotism is one means of triggering this process. While in a trance a
person can reach higher planes of consciousness. This can cause a personal
spiritual awakening for many people. Once triggered, the process can open
many individuals up to the memories from a past life.
In some cases, individuals are able to explore numerous lifetimes within
their memory. They are able to recall pivotal moments as well as the
deaths of the bodies that were associated with each of their past lives.
This helps some people understand fears that they are currently dealing
with.
Hypno-kinesiology in another method of triggering a Past Lives
Reincarnation regression, this process combines general hypnosis and
testing of the muscles. During the hypnotic state the muscles are checked
for any differences in reflexes, which aid in determining any past life
secrets.
For some people, using this method provides better results. However, some
claim that his method is used to persuade the person to believe their
results are anything more than provoked responses that the body would
naturally have as a reaction.
In some cases, the answer to Past Lives Reincarnation regression comes
from trigger words, sounds or smells. In our normal daily routine we might
be watching our favourite show, or smelling a home cooked meal when we
recall an event from a lifetime we never had. This can at times cause fear
in us, and as we continue to explore this experience, we find the truth
about our own reincarnation regression. This is what can lead us to
individuals who have a strong knowledge in this field of study.
